TERATH NIVAS HOUSE

This Large 3600 square foot house is located on two acres of woodland and meadows that go down to the Santa Cruz River. It is peaceful, both inside and out, and has nice views of the mountains and hills. It is an oasis in the high desert of northern New Mexico.

This beautiful house has many southwestern features and amenities and lots of artistic things gathered from the owner's trips around the world. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ bathrooms . But there is also a large office and a TV/family room, which can add 2 more bedrooms with the use of futons. The upstairs master bedroom has an outside covered balcony and a kiva fireplace . The round living room has a kiva fireplace and bancos and is perfect for family gatherings. The large kitchen and dining area are an open plan and great for entertaining. The kitchen is for vegetarian cooking only but there is an outside grill for other food preparation.

The outside grounds are green and cool in summer . There is a basketball court and shaded picnic area outside the back door and a large grass field out front for fun and games. You can walk along the river and only see horses in the fields or you can walk up into the Sombrillo Hills for spectacular views.

The house is the owner's actual residence. While there is ample space and facilities there are personal things in some of the closets, drawers and around the house. An advantage of this is the kitchen is well stocked with all appliances and spices. There is a widescreen TV with Dish Satellite service . There are also artifacts and photos from around the world including Asia and Africa.
